Abstract:

The method of energy minimization in multi-scale modelling of two-phase flow, has been applied to an analysis on energy transport and regime transition.

Various regime transitions have been identified on the basis of this method of analysis, each accompanied by its corresponding change in energy transport. Regime diagrams are presented, and relevant criteria have been developed to impart explicit physical meanings to the related regimes.

Keywords:

Regime transition, Energy transport
